Good: la chambre etait excellente, grand balcon avec vue sur le danube, très bon petit déjeuner, piscine et jacuzzi sont bien, comfortable et personnel accueillant Bad: le balcon est dans un état délabré, il y a des fissures sur les murs. Il y a trop de monde dans les piscines le soir, avec des personnes âgées qui se promènent nues, ce qui est très choquant et indécent. dommage qu’il n’y pas de détails sur le solarium, j’ai demandé plusieurs fois pour le faire on ne m’a jamais répondu.

Good: Die tolle Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Donau. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Brauchte man Hilfe, war man sofort vor Ort. Good: Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Lage. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und vom Komfort des Wellnessbereichs ganz zu schweigen. Ich hatte sogar eine eigene Sauna in meinem Badezimmer. Good: We liked so much the view, the design of the breakfast area and the lobby. Everything was so clean, even though the room has an aged appearance. The stuff was so great, nice and helpful. Bad: The spa area wasn't how we expected. It seemed to be a little bit aged for the fresh and well designed aspect of hotel. However the experience was just great.

Good: This year I had two stays, April and May, at Hotel Helia before and after a conference at the Balaton lake. I keep coming back to Hotel Helia, where I have stayed many times over the years. It has all of what I appreciate, a delightful swimming pool, hot water baths, sauna, water fitness, massage and much more. Very good buffet breakfast in the main restaurant, and also a good bistro restaurant with tasty dishes for snacks and simple meals, a comfortable terrace, walking areas just outside the hotel by the Danube with many chairs, benches and even reclining chairs at the quay to rest on if needed. Very good central location with excellent bus service just outside the hotel and a supermarket opposite the the hotel. Only about 45 minutes by taxi to airport. Coffee, tea and fridge in the room and more. Although the hotel has been through renovation it has been done nicely and is still an excellent hotel having value for money considering all the amenities. Bad: The check-in procedure is quite strict, only from 3 PM, but luggage room is available. The check-in procedure seemed a bit tedious and lengthy, but check-out was smooth and quick

Good: It was my third stay at Danubius Hotel Helia, meaning, that for me, this hotel, is the best in Budapest. The main reason why I keep coming here is the Spa area. Four pools with cold and hot water, plenty of room to relax or swim, salt cave for breathing problems and a very well equipped fitness gym. Also the breakfast is a delicious buffet and the view of The Danube from you hotel room is breathtaking. Bad: The hotel is a bit old and you have to use public transportation (buses 75, 79M, 15 and 115 or Metro M3) to get to the city center or to the mall, which for me it's not inconvenient, but for others it may be, instead, the only reason why this time I give it a 9 rating is that they did some drilling machine works on Sunday, which was a quite annoying.

Good: Отличное расположение.Хорошая транспортная развязка. Хорошие бассейны.Плавательный и три термальных.Сауна финская супер. Отличный спортивный зал. Не было нужды ходить в городские купальни.Завтрак хороший,разнообразный.Везде чистота. Очень довольна работой горничной.Всем спасибо. Bad: Было очень душено в комнате.Окна практически не открываются.По моей просьбе открыли окно маленькое,но это не очень помогло.У меня было день рождение (70!!!)хотелось бы,чтоб администрация как то реагировала на такие вещи как юбилеи и дни рождения.Это пристиж отеля.Это не недостаток,а мое мнение.

I stayed here last week for business. This is good location on bank of Danube. This is very near to my office. Room is small but bed is good and no noise during sleeping. Breakfast is also good. Thermal bath is excellent and this hotel is famous for this.

Good: Great hotel, great spa and really good value for money. I've stayed here a few times and I love the thermal pools and jacuzzi and atmosphere of the hotel. Bad: My only criticism is the amount of electric lights all around the hotel and especially in the pool area - so wasteful of resources and completely unnecessary.

Good: As always, everything starts with good parking. 10 euros per day is really fair price for hotel parking. The hotel lobby is large. You immediately get the feeling of comfort. The staff is great. Quick, helpful, polite, absolutely professional. Three elevators take you to the rooms. The room is large enough. Clean bathroom and fixed towel dryer. The bed size is ok and very comfortable. Two sets of pillows give you the chance to find the best combination for good sleep. The spa center is spacious. Four swimming pools with temperatures from 24 up to 38 degrees of celsius. Male and female saunas and steam baths are separated. Also very clean and without any odors. The hotel is at the very river bank and it makes you feel like you are not at the busy city center. Bad: Although the wifi signal in the hotel lobby was strong and the internet was fast (good Viber and WatsApp calls), the speed of the internet in the room wasn't good enough. In the room the signal strength was strong, but the speed wasn't sufficient even for light browsing.

The excellent hotel is located on the banks of the Danube. Very good breakfast. The rooms are good but the bathroom in the room is very small. The thermal baths are excellent. Overall a good hotel, a bit far from the city center but I would love to return for a holiday at this hotel.

Good: Расслабленная атмосфера в отеле. Приятный, доброжелательный персонал. Замечательный завтрак (горячее, холодное, фрукты, отличная свежая выпечка). Окна в номере выходили на город (не на Дунай), и вид нам понравился. Сам номер в тёплых тонах, уютный. Окно открывалось, спали со свежим воздухом. Bad: Спа-комплекс несколько разочаровал. Как-то неуютно. 2 сауны финская и турецкая в раздевалках, выполняют свою функцию, но хочется больше уюта.

Good: Das Hotel war im Ganzen wirklich top. Sauber, Ausstattung gut, freundliches/hilfsbereites Personal, Frühstück auch ausreichend Auswahl und gut. Immer schwierig das positive hervorzuheben aber im allgemeinen hat mich das Hotel überzeugt und ich kann es jedem weiterempfehlen Bad: 2 Punkte: 1. Von der Lage leicht außerhalb des Zentrums, jedoch handelt es sich um ein Spa-Hotel also nachvollziehbar, dass es etwas außerhalb liegt und es hält beinahe direkt die Buslinie davor also. Also alles halb so wild 2. Etwas das mich schon etwas gestört hat ist, dass die Zimmer extrem hellhörig sind. Habe wirklich beinahe jedes Geräusch von den angrenzenden Zimmern bzw. dem Gang gehört.

Fantastic design in the lobby, very modern and bright. The rooms however still sport the standard 80s outfit, and the carpets everywhere should probably be exchanged soon. Also the bathroom in the room is too small and shabby, appliances not working correctly, soap basket being torn half apart, etc. All the staff very friendly and helpful all the time. Breakfast very nice and worth the price.

During this stage, we'll be giving a modern makeover to the rooms on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of the south wing. These updates align with today's standards and reflect the style of our lobby and conference floor.

We anticipate that the renovation will continue until the end of March 2024. While we work on enhancing our facilities, rest assured that our experienced and skilled team will ensure your comfort is a top priority. All of the hotel's services will remain accessible throughout the renovation period.
